Some of my favorite recipes

Hi guys... one of my friends wanted me to post some recipes on my blog so that she could try them, so I hope all of you enjoy them! They are sure to win over a man's heart... straight through his stomach (At least it worked for me!). I'll keep posting more as I think of them.

Green bean casserole

1 large can of green beans (or 2 regular cans)
1 can of cr. of mushroom soup
1 large can of French's onions

Preheat oven to 350. Drain green beans. Pour green beans into a square casserole pan. Pour soup over green beans and spread evenly. Pour onions over soup and spread evenly. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until onions are crispy golden brown. This dish is SUPER easy! Makes 6 servings.

Chicken Pot Pie

1 can cr. of celery soup
1 can cr. of chicken soup
3 chicken breasts
8 oz frozen vegetables (1/2 of a small package)
1 package of Pillsbury pie crust (comes w/ 2 rolled crusts)

Preheat oven to 350. Season chicken breasts as desired (I use Lowry's season salt). Boil breasts until done. Chop breasts into cubes after they have cooled a bit. Mix vegetables, soups, and chicken in a bowl. Add pepper as desired. Place the first pie crust into a pie plate and use a fork to poke hole randomly in it. Pour mix into the pie plate with the bottom crust in place. Cover filling with the 2nd pie crust. Seal crust around the edges and poke holes in the top crust with a fork. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until top crust is golden. Makes 6 servings

Coconut Pies (Not to be confused with coconut cream pie)

3 eggs, beaten until frothy
1 tbs vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 & 1/2 cups sugar
1 stick melted butter
About 3/4 package of Baker's coconut
3 boxes of frozen miniture pie crusts (8 mini-crusts in each box)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix beaten eggs, vinegar, vanilla, butter and sugar until consistent. Add coconut and mix gently until well blended. Open pie crusts and place them on a large baking sheet. Spoon a large spoonful of mix into each mini-pie crust. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 24 mini-pies.
